In loving memory of James, and of a life shared for more than thirty years.
Remembering James
James and I shared more than thirty years together—a life of ordinary days and extraordinary memories. HarperFarms began during that life together. Today, I keep this place as a way to remember James, preserve pieces of the life we shared, and honor someone who remains very much a part of mine.
Today is the sixth anniversary of the day I said goodbye to James. There is still not a day that goes by that I do not think about my Kiddo. At night when I look up at the stars I think of James and the times we would stare skyward and try to understand the size, scope and meaning of it all. I remember James when I hear a song, watch a movie, work in the garden, walk down by the farm pond, smell a rose, hug the dog or drink a beer on the back porch... I miss the telephone calls and texts during the day and the tender moments when we were together.
I have loving memories of James.
I miss you Kiddo!
